Stoke Holy Cross Maths Cafes

We are about two thirds of the way through our first year of maths cafes and the feedback from parents so far has been overwhelmingly positive!

The cafes have shared the format of exploring a book to provide a context for the session, some maths input and finishing with a craft-based activity giving all pupils a valuable resource they can use at home with their parents to develop their mathematical skills.

However, every cafe has had a unique feel created by individual teachers, whilst maintaining a relaxed, welcoming and fun atmosphere.

The whole community has come together to enjoy these sessions from the mums, dads,  grandparents and aunties, School Association members, governors, Parent Support Adviser to the  staff, placement students  and pupils.
